Conveying clearly to engineers

Engineers do not have the same context and perspective than us designers, hence it was vital for me to help them digest the large amount of new information. Here are some ways I incorporated to do just that:

Improving experience

Since we have statistics of how users are using Magic Reach on the desktop, I looked into it to see how our users are behaving. I found that bulk of our users select the same particular options when engaging with their communities.

Since we have statistics of how users are using Magic Reach on the desktop, I looked into it to see how our users are behaving. I found that bulk of our users select the same particular options when engaging with their communities.

Hence, instead of empty fields, the top options were selected by default. This allows for users to get into the meat of the task - writing messages!

Pre-selection helps new users quickly grasp what Magic Reach is about. Previously, feedback indicated that users were often unsure of what to do when first arriving at Magic Reach on desktop.

While we didn’t capture precise metrics for this project’s impact, initial feedback from CMs was positive, highlighting improved ease of communication, right from the mobile phones.
